Steel-Look Doors and Windows
The Aluco Steel-Look Collection includes a range of windows, doors, bifold doors and internal screens, all of which are made to bespoke dimensions and are available in a wide range of colours.
Steel-look doors and windows are also referred to as being Art Deco, due to their bold, streamlined design, with fabulous symmetry and geometric patterns. Many homeowners incorporate Art Deco in their interior design and that includes their choice of doors and windows. They are extremely popular and we are often asked to install Black Art Deco doors and windows in a wide range of traditional and contemporary homes throughout London, Surrey, Hampshire and Berkshire.
Aluminium is a strong material, which makes it the perfect choice for manufacturing windows with a slim frame. The Aluco Steel-Look Collection are fitted with argon filled double glazing and achieve excellent thermal properties to keep the home warm.
All doors and windows are fitted with secure multi-point locks. We offer a wide range of door and window handles, in different colours and designs, to complement the décor inside your home.
Steel-Look doors and windows have slim horizontal and vertical sightlines, which closely replicate the traditional steel windows and doors often seen in traditional heritage properties.
Historically, steel windows were single glazed and would need to be painted regularly to stop them from becoming rusty over time. The Aluco Elegance Range is made from Aluminium which is powder coated. They require very little maintenance to ensure they look good and continue to perform well for a number of years.
Our Steel-Look doors are available as a single door, double doors or even bifolding doors and we have a range of internal Steel-Look doors to complete the look.
Internal Steel-Look Doors
Our Steel-Look Collection of doors are extremely popular inside the home.
Each of our doors is made-to-measure and can be made as an internal door to a kitchen, utility room, bedroom, bathroom or hallway. We can also install Steel-Look screens or room dividers within the home.
Whilst our external Art Deco doors have a threshold to ensure that the doors offer protection against the wind and rain, when installed inside the home, we remove the threshold to create a seamless transition from one room to another.
We offer a wide range of colours, with Black Art Deco frames being the most popular colour.
