How much does a glass extension cost?

Are glass extensions cold?

No, glass extensions are not cold. Glass extension made from modern materials are very thermally efficient which means they are cheaper to heat and dont let the cold in. This means you can use your glazed extension all year round.

Do you need planning permission for glass extensions?

Normally you do not need plannig permission for glass extensions. The basic limits you can build to before needing plannig permission is that the extensions should not take up more than hald the area of land around the home. However it is always best to ask a local expert and check your planning rules in the local area just to make sure you are within the limits.
