How does it work?

The Deposit Protection

Once you’ve chosen your new windows and doors & paid your deposit, we will automatically notify the IWA who will process your deposit protection documents. The IWA will directly issue you a certificate to acknowledge the deposit payment made and ensure you are protected subject to the terms and conditions on the certificate. It’s as simple as that.

We can also offer IWA protection for any Glazed Extensions which our designers can discuss this in more detail with you personally.

The Guarantee Insurance

Once the installation has been completed & you’ve made the final payment, the IWA Guarantee Insurance will commence. This policy is insured for up to ten years and is underwritten by FCA authorised Insurers, subject to the terms and conditions on the Certificate. The policy will be issued directly by IWA, without one you won’t be covered so make sure you keep the paperwork safe when it arrives. For further information regarding the T&C’s please contact IWA.

It’s a continuous policy with no need to renew at any point, and if you are planning on selling your home, it’s fully transferable (subject to the T&C’s of the original installers guarantees). The policy is also covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS).

What does it mean to me?

The IWA offer protection for our customers in the very unlikely event of our company ceasing to trade. The T&C’s will be in your policy documents.

Both the Deposit Protection & the Guarantee Insurance are given to all customers for any project you choose to instruct us to complete.
